Behind every treatment is a story that matters. Behind every success is a joy we share.
I never imagined we would need help conceiving — but we are so truly grateful for everything the GYN-FIV team did for us. They helped us make our dream come true.
- Michaela B.
I chose GYN-FIV based on recommendations. After several miscarriages, Dr. Silvester Galo found the right path forward. Thanks to him and the whole team, I now have a healthy son.
- Tereza Ť.
Thanks to the GYN-FIV team, our little dream princess AnneMarie Elizabeth is almost two. Even after setbacks, they never gave up on us — and neither did we.
- Erika K.
After a long and painful journey, we turned to GYN-FIV. From the very first moment, the care and warmth of the team stood out. Thanks to them, we finally welcomed our son Dávidko. We are incredibly grateful.
- Viktoria R.
This is our Jakub — and thanks to GYN-FIV, we've been parents for five years. The journey isn’t always easy, and sometimes you need help. We did — and we’re so grateful we asked for it.
- The Horák Family
From consultation to treatment, everything went smoothly and exactly as planned. Thank you for our little girl.

We are an independent, physician-led fertility clinic with 20+ years of experience, combining advanced reproductive medicine with highly personalised treatment pathways. Unlike large clinic groups, clinical decisions stay close to the patient, allowing for greater flexibility, faster implementation of new approaches and continuity within the same experienced medical and embryology teams. We also go beyond a single IVF cycle: care can include fertility preservation, donor programmes, reproductive immunology, genetics, andrology, urology and other specialist support, all coordinated around one reproductive goal. For international patients, we additionally coordinate much of the process remotely, helping reduce unnecessary travel and making treatment abroad easier to manage.
GYN-FIV has currently two main clinics strategically placed on the Austrian border - Bratislava and in the central region of Slovakia - Žilina. The biggest clinic is in the capital city - Bratislava, which is located less than 60km from the Vienna Airtport.
Consider a fertility consultation at GYN-FIV if you have been trying to conceive for 12 months without success, or for 6 months if the woman is over 35. We also welcome patients seeking a donor programme, social egg freezing, a preventive fertility check, or a second opinion after unsuccessful IVF cycles at another clinic. A consultation is also recommended for irregular cycles, endometriosis, recurrent miscarriages, previous gynaecological surgery, or a family history of genetic conditions.
We offer consultations both online and in person. Our experienced coordinators are here to support you throughout the entire process in English, Hungarian, German, or French.
IVF treatment can be performed up to the age of 49. We recommend not delaying treatment, as age is an important factor in successful IVF.
A donor undergoes a baseline pelvic examination (including a personal interview and examination of a hormone profile), screening for sexually transmitted diseases (HIV, hepatitis, syphilis, etc.) and a genetic testing from blood (karyotype – evaluation of the number and structure of chromosomes and test for cystic fibrosis).
The first consultation is a relaxed, no-obligation meeting where you meet your doctor and talk through your situation in detail. During the visit, we explain which fertility tests may be suitable for you, such as blood tests, ultrasound, or a spermiogram, and discuss your possible treatment options based on your individual needs. You will also receive practical recommendations on what you can do to support your fertility, and we will guide you through what the entire process looks like — including timing, procedures, and costs.
Yes, at GYN-FIV we offer both social and medical egg freezing. We recommend egg freezing for women who plan to become pregnant later, have medical reasons (e.g., endometriosis, planned oncological treatment), or wish to preserve their fertility for the future. During the consultation, we will explain everything and prepare a plan tailored to your needs.
